Exufiber is a sterile nonwoven dressing made from highly absorbent polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibres. Hydrophilic fibres attract, absorb and lock-in high levels of exudate, transforming into a soft, conformable gel. This helps to break down slough by promoting autolytic debridement, supporting a clean wound bed. Small spaces between the fibres result in less free fluid within the dressing, supporting fluid retention, even under compression, reducing the risk of leakage and maceration. In contact with wound exudate, Exufiber transforms into a gel that facilitates moist wound healing and ease of removal during dressing change. Exufiber absorbs and retains wound exudate. Exufiber is available both as pad and ribbon dressings.

A highly absorbent, sterile, non woven, antimicrobial pad composed of a high G (guluronic acid) calcium alginate, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), and an ionic silver complex (Silver Sodium Hydrogen Zirconium Phosphate) which releases silver ions in the presence of wound exudate. As wound exudate is absorbed the alginate forms a gel, which aids autolytic debridement, whilst maintaining a moist environment for optimal wound healing. The gel ensures intact removal, without damage to healing tissue. The silver ions released in the presence of wound exudate are an effective antimicrobial agent against a broad spectrum of microorganisms frequently associated with the bacterial colonisation and infection of wounds, for up to twenty-one (21) days, based on in-vitro testing. Melgisorb Ag can also reduce the odour of infected wounds as a result of its effective antimicrobial properties. Melgisorb Ag is an effective barrier to penetration by microorganisms. As the Melgisorb Ag contains alginate, it may assist in supporting the control of minor bleeding in superficial wounds. This product can also be used under compression bandages.

Exufiber Ag+ has high absorption and retention capacity of wound exudate and maintains a moist wound environment. The structural integrity of Exufiber Ag+ supports removal in one piece. In contact with liquid, Exufiber Ag+ releases silver ions and inactivates a variety of wound related pathogens such as bacteria, fungi and moulds, as has been shown in vitro. By reducing the number of microorganisms, Exufiber Ag+ can prevent and reduce the formation of bacterial biofilm, as shown in vitro and in vivo. Exufiber Ag+ can be used as an effective barrier against microbial penetration of the dressing.

A soft silicone foam dressing with silver, intended to be used on infected wounds or wounds at risk of infection with low to moderate amounts of wound fluid on the heel. With Safetac Technology, it adheres gently to the skin without sticking to the wound bed, minimising pain and trauma during dressing changes. This feature is particularly beneficial for patients with sensitive or fragile skin who have acute or hard-to-heal wounds at all healing stages. Mepilex Heel Ag provides up to 7 days of antimicrobial protection with silver sulphate, helping reduce odour and infection risk. Mepilex Ag can be used under compression bandaging. Mepilex Ag has also been shown to inactivate wound related pathogens, up to 7 days in vitro.

Safetac is a proprietary adhesive technology developed by Mölnlycke that minimises pain to patients and trauma to intact skin or wounds. Mepilex Border Ag has been shown to inactivate wound related pathogens up to 7 days in vitro.

Mölnlycke Z-Flo Fluidized Positioner is designed to support patient positioning, provide pressure redistribution, and/or to offload anatomical sites. It may be used as part of prophylactic therapy to help prevent pressure injuries. The positioner consists of a fluidised medium composed of viscous fluid, microspheres and polyethylene beads which are encapsulated in a polyurethane film exterior. The positioner can be moulded to support multiple anatomical shapes and clinical needs.
