The insert is used as a protective layer in the heel lifter if there is a risk of soiling due to, for example, wounds and/or high sweating. Heel up inlay is covered with nonwoven felt, which is a skin-friendly material that is moisture-absorbing, heat-transporting, soft and comfortable.
